City of Brandon's Open Government Initiative

The City of Brandon is committed to being open and transparent with its residents, and this means showing value for the taxpayer dollar. We are committed to publishing government data and we are working hard to improve your online interactions with local government. The City of Brandon’s online Open Government portal strives to show the public how it is working for them in a meaningful way.

The latest update to the portal, the Corporate Scorecard, is rooted in the importance of providing measurable data. With this Corporate Scorecard, citizens will know where their municipal government is focusing its efforts, where it is succeeding and, perhaps, where more attention should be focused. Future phases of the initiative will see comparative data brought into the measurement process, as well as the roll-out of additional goals and interactive features.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding any of the data on our Open Government website, please contact us here.
